Meet Rock Landscaping
Our company was started in 2010 by Russ Enz, who has lived in Alaska for 35 years. When you call, Russ is usually the one answering the phone, and he will also be the one managing your project. His three children were born and raised in Alaska, and they work alongside him in this family run business. We employ only the most qualified people who are passionate about their work, and many of them have worked with our owner for over 30 years.
Owner’s Background
Our owner Russ has a background and previous work experience that uniquely qualify him to run this business. He has 35 years of experience as an equipment operator gained while building highways for some of the biggest land developers in the area. While working for the union he was a project manager and superintendent who ran all of the jobs. While others gained their training mowing lawns, Russ gained his training working for the government as he became a soil expert and “dirt engineer”. He acquired a profound understanding of how different soils interact in various environments making him an expert in the landscaping field.
